The 2017 Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run will be taking place in the month of April throughout South Florida. The annual 5K race is one of the largest in the nation, garnering over 35,000 participants just in 2016 alone, according to the race website. After its inaugural year in 1985, the event continues to draw in South Florida businesses looking for a fun event that promotes corporate wellness and fitness for all levels.
Dates and Locations:
- The 2017 Corporate Run will first head to Fort Lauderdale on Thursday April 6, 2017. The race will begin at the Huizenga Plaza, 32 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale at 6:45 PM.
- Next to run will be West Palm Beach on Wednesday April 12, 2017. The race kicks off at Meyer Amphitheatre, 105 Evernia St, West Palm Beach at 6:45 PM.
- The Corporate Run will then head to Miami for the final run of 2017 on Thursday April 27. The race begins at 6:45 PM at Bayfront Park, located at 301 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami.
Registration to participate in the race has already closed, but everyone is encouraged to attend and cheer on their corporate team to victory.
Fun, healthy food, good drinks, company t-shirts, and tent decorations are all part of the race night experience dubbed as “South Florida’s Largest Office Party”.
Awards for the night include top honors in 20 different industry categories, with accolades going to male, female, and mixed teams. Awards are also given for best company t-shirts and the largest corporate team.
