Florida bar hosts educational session for administrative law

The Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Committee, alongside the Administrative Law Section and the Public Utilities Law Committee, will host a class called “Solving the puzzles: updates on net neutrality, public records, negotiated rules, and cyber security,” on September 11 in Tallahassee.

The class will include sections on negotiated rule making, public records update and the public service commission process, as well as net neutrality and cyber security.

Keating_BethBeth Keating, a shareholder in Gunster’s government affairs law and lobbying group is on the faculty and steering committee for the event. Bruce Lamb, also a shareholder at Gunster, is the Chair of Continuing Legal Education for the Administrative Law Section, which is co-hosting the event.

Keating is well versed in state administrative law, federal and state regulatory codes pertaining to utility companies. Her practice involves legal representation of and policy consultation for competitive telecomGunster attorney Bruce Lambmunications, cable and technology companies, as well as electric and natural gas utilities.

Bruce Lamb is a shareholder and leader of the health care practice, and concentrates his practice in the representation of professionals and health care entities before regulatory bodies and in structuring business relationships to meet regulatory requirements.
