On Tuesday, October 13, Gunster will host a symposium to address the important questions surrounding expanding access to health care in Florida. The event is hosted in partnership with the USF Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation, or CAMLS, and will take place at their state-of-the art clinical training facility in Tampa.

The panel, moderated by former US Senator George LeMieux, Bruce Lamb and Derek Bruce, will include eight speakers who represent a variety of backgrounds related to health care.

The session will close with a legislative update from Joe Negron, Florida State Senator.

CAMLS facility:

CAMLS opened in 2012, and hosts education and training in a practical environment. Part of the health care symposium event will include a tour of the facility. The facility includes surgical labs and a virtual hospital, as well as conference and education spaces.
