On April 23, Gunster attorney Preethi Sekharan was awarded top honor in the Business/Professional category at the 2015 Women of Distinction awards.
Soroptimist International of Stuart holds the annual event – its 25th so far – to recognize women in Martin County who have made outstanding contributions to the community.

Sekharan works out of Gunster’s Stuart and West Palm Beach offices. She focuses her legal practice on intellectual property and trade secret disputes, complex commercial litigation and corporate/shareholder disputes, including contract and restrictive covenant issues.
She currently serves as president of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL), Martin County Chapter, and as vice president of the Martin County Friends of NRA.
The Soroptimist organization is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls.
