WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (July 8, 2009) – Gunster, Attorneys at Law, has added three attorneys to the firm’s West Palm Beach office:  Mitchell D. Schepps has joined as a shareholder, and William A. Stetson and Tanya M. Reed as associates.

Schepps concentrates his practice in taxation, complex trust and estate planning, and probate and trust administration work for affluent individuals, families and their related businesses. With more than 27 years of legal experience, he is admitted to practice in Florida and New York, and is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, Palm Beach County Tax Institute, the Palm Beach/Martin County Estate Planning Council and The Benjamin School’s capital campaign committee. Schepps earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island, his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University, and his Master of Law degree from New York University.

Stetson concentrates his practice in complex estate planning, probate and trust administration and litigation, tax controversies and tax-exempt organizations, and has authored nearly a dozen Florida codes and statutes in these areas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from the University of Miami, his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida State University, and his Master of Law from the University of Florida. While in law school he served on the Jessup International Moot Court Team, completed a Florida Public Service Fellowship, and was named to the FSU Dean’s List. He is currently a member of the Florida Bar. Prior to joining Gunster, Stetson served as an assistant attorney general for the state programs division and a law clerk for the Florida office of the Attorney General.

Reed concentrates her practice in labor and employment litigation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. She was honored on the dean’s list at both universities. Reed is a member of the American Bar, Florida Bar, Palm Beach County Bar and Broward Bar Associations.
