WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Dec. 28, 2016) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Gunster attorney John W. Little III received the John Arthur Jones Annual Service Award in 2016 from the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law section.
Little leads Gunster’s eminent domain and property rights law practice, and is a member of the firm’s ethics committee.
He received the honor at the RPPTL executive council meeting in July 2016. He has been a member of the RPPTL executive council since 1997, and previously received the RPPTL’s annual service award in 2008.
Little’s legal practice principally focuses on the representation of owners and businesses in defense of private property rights in eminent domain and inverse condemnation actions, regulatory takings, constitutional and Bert J. Harris claims, as well as related land use and zoning matters. He is also a frequent lecturer and author, and recently authored the Florida chapter of the American Bar Association’s book on the law of eminent domain.
