WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2014) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Christopher P. Benvenuto, an attorney in the firm’s West Palm Beach office, has been named to the board of trustees for the Palm Beach area chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Benvenuto’s practice areas include business and complex commercial litigation, as well as land use and real estate litigation.
Benvenuto, a native of Palm Beach County, has been active in other local community organizations. He has previously served on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches and is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County. Benvenuto received his undergraduate, master’s and law degrees all from the University of Florida.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. Its mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Chris Benvenuto, an attorney in Gunster’s West Palm Beach office, joined the firm in 2003. He is a member of the firm’s business litigation and land use practice groups.
