WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 30, 2014) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, announced today the move of its Miami office to 600 Brickell at Brickell World Plaza, one of the newest and most prestigious office buildings in Miami.

The law firm signed a 12-year lease to occupy the entire 35th floor of the tower, totaling 21,355 square feet, and has relocated its Miami office from One Biscayne Tower in downtown Miami. The deal was negotiated by Daniel Mackler, Gunster shareholder and real estate practice leader, on behalf of the law firm.

“Gunster’s move to this state-of-the-art office building in the heart of Miami’s business community affirms our commitment to this rapidly growing market and its needs,” said Bill Perry, managing shareholder of Gunster. “It also further positions us as one of the most sophisticated law firms in Florida and will assist us as we grow our group of talented attorneys.”

Gunster chose to relocate to 600 Brickell because of its prime location within the bustling Brickell area, a hub of Miami’s business community; the strong tenant roster of leading companies in the tower; and its technology and infrastructure capabilities.

In addition to the move, Gunster continues to invest in its attorneys and staff in the Miami marketplace.

Recently, the law firm bolstered its white-collar, environmental and land use and litigation practices with a number of high-profile senior attorneys, including former judge Angel Cortiñas, a white-collar defense lawyer and litigator; Simon Ferro, former U.S. ambassador to Panama and an environmental and land use attorney; Mario Garcia-Serra, Amy Brigham Boulris and Juan Muñiz, property rights, eminent domain and land use attorneys; and William Hill and Jorge Guttman, business litigators.
