Enhanced Business News Site Includes More Editorial Features and Adaptive Technology to Improve Navigation Capabilities

Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest business law firms, has unveiled a new look and feel for its Boardroom Brief, the firm’s daily business news site. The site, which is comprised of an aggregate of headlines from around the state and related business content written by Gunster attorneys, originally launched in February 2009. Boardroom Brief now delivers greater ease-of-use and relevant news to its nearly 5,000 subscribers who are top-level executives and business leaders from around the state.

The Boardroom Brief’s Focus on Florida blogs and Questions of the Week address timely issues relating to current events and industry trends. The site also includes a new feature called the Legislative Corner, which encompasses commentary, blogs and articles related to legislative and political issues impacting Florida.

“Gunster is setting a trend by being the only law firm in Florida to host an external news site with unique content accessible to all readers, not just the clients,” said Bill Perry, managing partner at Gunster. “The firm places a strong emphasis on capitalizing on a broad spectrum of social media platforms to share timely information and serve as a leading legal resource.”

Since late October, Gunster’s Boardroom Brief traffic has increased more than 30 percent, signaling greater interest in the site. Responsive web design is the engine behind the updated Boardroom Brief, which enables the website to detect what device the reader is using and optimizes their device to improve navigation and readability. Readers can also engage through Facebook and Twitter to provide feedback and comments on Boardroom Brief topics.
