Richard Holt joined Gunster in 1969. A shareholder of the firm for many decades, Richard currently serves as of counsel in the Real Estate group. In his fifth decade of practice, Richard continues to be involved in both commercial and high end residential real property acquisitions and sales. His clients range from developers and commercial owners, to high net worth residential sellers and buyers.

Richard has assisted clients in the acquisition, financing, development, construction and leasing of various projects including shopping centers, office buildings, multi-family residential projects, recreational and industrial properties, to name only a few. His experience includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, handling title matters, coordinating due diligence activities and identifying and dealing with environmental and land use challenges.

Richard advises commercial property owners and buyers on acquisitions, as well as construction and permanent financing.
