Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that two prominent area litigators have joined the firm’s Stuart and West Palm Beach offices.

Gunster attorney Stephen C. PageStephen C. Page will focus on business and intellectual property litigation, as well as probate, trust, environmental, land use, and securities litigation.

Mr. Page is returning to Gunster, where he practiced for 23 years until his departure in 2000 to form PageMrachek. While at Gunster, he served on the executive committee, and was the firm’s first chairman from 1997-98.

He is currently listed in Best Lawyers in America for commercial, intellectual property, real estate, and trusts & estates litigation; Florida Super Lawyers for business and intellectual property litigation; Florida Trend’s Legal Elite for commercial litigation; and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Page received his B.S. with distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1977.

Gunster attorney Preethi SekharanPreethi Sekharan will focus on business and intellectual property litigation, as well as probate and trust litigation, and civil appeals.

Ms. Sekharan practiced with PageMrachek for over a decade before joining Gunster this fall. She is an active member of the Martin County legal and business community, and is a past president of the Martin County Bar Association. She presently serves as vice-president of the Martin County Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and co-chair of the Martin County Bar Association’s Judicial Relations Committee.

This year, Ms. Sekharan was one of the recipients of the United Way’s Employee Pillar of Character award. Ms. Sekharan is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.

Ms. Sekharan obtained her M.P.H. from Tulane University in 1997, and her J.D. from New York Law School in 2001. Ms. Sekharan is admitted to practice in both Florida and New York.
