Gunster’s electronic discovery project manager, Fred Owens, is the president of the ACEDS South Florida Gunster's Fred OwensChapter and will be a featured panelist at the event. Owens has more than a decade of experience working with attorneys and professional support staff in the areas of information technology management, electronic discovery and litigation support, both in and out of the courtroom. He focuses on ensuring compliance with state and federal electronic discovery rules and ESI collection from clients and opposing and third parties. A member of ACEDS since 2015, Owens received a Kroll On-Track E-Discovery Certification in 2000. His background in information technology, along with his law degree, aid him in bridging the gap between the law and electronically stored information.

In addition to Owens, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Magistrate Judge William Matthewman, Ian Ross of Greenberg Traurig, and Phil Shellhaas of TrustPoint International. The panel discussion is free of cost and lunch will be provided.
