The Martin County Friends of NRA will hold its eighth annual dinner and auction on Thursday, October 10, beginning at 6 p.m. Gunster is a proud sponsor of the event.
This year’s fundraiser will feature retired Marine and national pistol champion Brian “Gunny” Zins of Cabot Gun Company. Zins was a finalist on the History Channel’s “Top Shot: Season Two.”
Stuart mayor Eula Clarke (at left) presents the city’s “Firearm Safety Day” proclamation to Preethi Sekharan, an attorney in Gunster’s Stuart office and vice-chair of the Martin County Friends of NRA executive committee.
Friends of NRA raises funds for education, safety and training in the shooting sports. Grants are provided to 4H clubs, Boy Scout groups, hunter safety programs, youth marksmanship, children’s gun safety programs, women’s self-defense programs, and other educational and safety services.
