Gunster attorney Brian SparksGunster private wealth services attorney Brian Sparks is scheduled to speak to the Polk County Estate Planning Council on “Disaster & Emergency Preparedness: New Tools & Techniques” beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23.

The Estate Planning Council of Polk County will be hosting this discussion in efforts to promote a multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning. The council is an organization of professional Estate Planners throughout Polk County with backgrounds in several disciplines. The Estate Planning Council of Polk County is a member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC) which supports local estate councils and their members.

Sparks is a dual-board certified wills, trusts, estates, and tax law attorney whose practice includes tax, estate, asset protection, and privacy protection planning for wealthy individuals, business executives, professionals, and closely-held businesses, as well as tax controversy matters. Sparks devotes much of his community service to volunteering as a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician, Wilderness First Responder, Search and Rescue Technician, and disaster and emergency preparedness educator.  With experience in those capacities, Sparks will be speaking on helpful tools and techniques when planning for disasters or emergencies.
