Gunster shareholder Seth Kaplan will co-chair the Florida Bar Inaugural RPPTL Charitable Planning and Exempt Organizations Symposium which is being held virtually on October 16 and begins at 8:30 am.
This event will involve a 7 credit hour series of presentations, including a discussion with Alonzo Mourning about his experience in starting a charitable organization. Topics include impact investing, creative use of donor advised funds, use of technology in planning and new planning ideas. Nationally recognized speakers include Turney Berry, Martin Hall, Kelly Hellmuth, Jerry Hesch, Chris Hoyt, Paul Lee, Bruce Stone and Professor Elaine Wilson.

Seth Kaplan is a shareholder in Gunster’s Private Wealth Services group. He has over 25 years of experience and is admitted to the New York Bar, North Carolina Bar and Florida Bar. He concentrates his practice in the areas of tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals both domestic and international, wealth protection, planning for startups and tech businesses, and planned giving.
