On July 28, 2021, Gunster will sponsor the City of Miami’s 125th Anniversary Celebration, hosted by Mayor Francis X. Suarez. Gunster chairman and former U.S. Senator George LeMieux, along with shareholders Mario Garcia-Serra, Miguel Diaz de la Portilla, Elinette Ruiz-Diaz de la Portilla and Milton Vescovacci, will participate in the celebration.
The celebration will take place on Miami’s date of incorporation, and will honor four of Miami’s historical preservationists with a “Lifetime Achievement Award” and a symbolic passing of the torch to a new generation of civic leaders. The City’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and diversity will be reflected through performances from local artists.
