Gunster attorney Samantha Prokop will be presenting at the 2019 EPI Compliance and Healthcare Innovations Conference on April 11-13 at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort in Orlando. This conference provides a unique opportunity to learn about what is happening in the healthcare arena, opportunities available and potential resources to facilitate implementation of effective compliance plans and income generating opportunities.
During the boot camp portion of the conference on April 11, Prokop will be presenting on “Legal Aspects” from 2:40 pm-4:30 pm and the “Summary and Open Session” from 4:30 pm-5:30 pm. During the conference sessions on April 13, she will be presenting “Work Smarter, Not Harder” from 3:00 pm-3:50 pm.
Prokop’s practice is focused on serving health care and corporate clients in a variety of matters from starting new businesses to mergers and acquisitions and dissolution of partnerships. Her health care practice focuses on regulatory compliance matters including structuring arrangements to comply with the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and applicable state laws. She also assists clients in providing proactive HIPAA and other compliance reviews and defense of providers undergoing health care regulatory audits.
