On November 19, 2021, Gunster will host the first in a three-part webinar series providing insight into Florida’s redistricting process.

Government Affairs Practice Group Leader Ron Brisé and Consultants Joanna Bonfanti and Kevin Cleary will provide an overview of the redistricting process that takes place every ten years and the impact it has on Florida’s businesses.

Gunster Government Affairs Consultant Ron Brise

Ronald Brisé leverages a wealth of experience in governmental, legislative, political and business arenas to represent the interests of clients in matters that include appropriations, business development, education, governmental and legislative affairs, public policy, and economic development. He currently serves as chair of Gunster’s Government Affairs & Lobbying practice. Ronald is an accomplished commissioner, legislative leader and senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in telecom, energy, utilities, government and business.

Joanna Bonfanti is a seventh generation Floridian from the Panhandle. She has deep roots in both Florida and the political process. Her father, former Senator Charlie Clary (Destin), served ten years in the Florida Senate from 1996-2006. During this time, Joanna received first-hand experience in political campaigns, fundraising, public policy and advocacy watching Senator Clary represent his constituents in Tallahassee and serve in many leadership capacities, including as president pro tempore for the Senate.

As a native of Florida’s capital city, Kevin Cleary is skilled in navigating the inner workings of state and local government. Prior to joining Gunster’s Tallahassee office, Kevin developed more than a decade of legislative, executive and political experience. Most recently, Kevin served as the Legislative Affairs Director at the Department of Environmental Protection. In addition to his governmental affairs experience, Kevin previously served as an advisor to major political and issue advocacy campaigns within every level of Florida’s government.
