The Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association presents its program called Staying in the Game, which provides impactful and insightful programming focused on retaining women and minorities in the practice of law. This year will be our ten-year anniversary and our theme is “How to Build Your Board of Directors.”  We are hopeful the program will share and impart how professionals of all backgrounds can build a support network to help advance their careers; what types of professionals were/are part of the speakers’ network; how those individuals differed in various ways; and what the speakers learned along their journey.

The program will include a fireside chat with Florida Supreme Court Justice Renatha Francis and Second District Court of Appeal Judge Suzanne Labrit, a spectacular practitioner panel moderated by Katherine Yanes featuring Gunster attorney Nate Hill, Randy Harwell (U.S. Attorney’s Office), and Zarra Ellis (Moffitt), a judicial roundtable discussion, and then a networking lunch.

Gunster Attorney Nathan W. Hill

Nathan Hill co-leads Gunster’s White Collar Defense and Internal Investigations practice group and is vice-chair of the firm’s Business Litigation practice. Nathan is an experienced trial attorney and former federal prosecutor whose practice is focused on defending clients against the federal government. He has represented clients in both civil and criminal investigations brought by a variety of government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission. Nathan also represents clients in a wide range of other matters including healthcare and data security, antitrust litigation, professional malpractice, and various business and contract disputes.
