The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce presents its “Sand in My Shoes” commitment to the community award honoring University of Miami President Donna E. Shalala on February 18, 2014, at the Hilton Miami Downtown. Gunster is a proud sponsor of the event.
Donna E. Shalala is being recognized by the chamber as one of South Florida’s exceptional leaders. As UM president since 2001, Shalala has raised the profile of UM nationally and internationally, chamber chair Alberto Dosal says. UM has been ranked among the top 50 “Best Colleges” by U.S.News & World Report for five years running.
