Gunster Attorney and Securities Law & Corporate Governance Practice Leader Bob Lamm was recently quoted in a BeinCrypto article discussing the recent trend of U.S. regulators entering the crypto space as financial regulators and advisors.
In the article, Lamm highlights the moral and ethical implications posed by this trend. I think that people who were working for the regulators are using crypto as one of the many political footballs because they are sort of shaping a future at the crypto industry which is gonna be tough with regulation,” he goes on to explain.
Bob Lamm chairs the Gunster’s Securities Law & Corporate Governance practice. Bob previously served as assistant general counsel and assistant secretary of Pfizer. His prior experience includes senior legal positions at W. R. Grace, CA Technologies, and Financial Guaranty Insurance Company. He also has extensive experience with small and mid-cap companies, as well as nonprofit entities. In addition to his role at Gunster, Bob is an independent senior advisor to the Deloitte Center for Board Effectiveness.
