The number of Brazilian visitors to the U.S., and to Florida specifically, has increased dramatically in recent years. The estimates range anywhere from 61,000 in the state to over 150,000, according to Miami Today News.
Gunster immigration attorney Mariana Ribeiro tells the paper that more than 1.2 million Brazilians visited the United States in 2010, contributing some $6 billion to the U.S. economy.
