Gunster corporate law attorneys Bob Lamm and Tom Hickey were the subject of a June 30 South Florida Business & Wealth article.
Lamm is co-chair of the firm’s securities law and corporate governance practice, and Hickey focuses his practice on executive compensation.

Complicating the question of compensation for company executives are the various regulations and shareholder pressure (in the case of public firms) and reputational worries (in the case of private businesses), Lamm says in the article.
Ensuring fair and appropriate compensation in family businesses can be particularly trickey, Hickey adds.
D&O insurance policies may help defend against compensation clawbacks, Murphy says in the piece, but payouts are often not included nor desired in polices, for a variety of reasons.
