In a recent South Florida Business Journal article, Gunster attorney Elinette Ruiz-Diaz de la Portilla is quoted regarding an office building in Cutler Bay that could be demolished to build a mixed-use project.

The office, located along the South Dade TransitWay where Miami-Dade County plans to build a rapid bus transit system, was built in 1993 and currently serves as a call center. The developer proposes building a 969,396-square-foot project with 760 apartments and 24,000 square feet of commercial space.

“The Applicant is proposing a beautifully designed transit oriented mixed use project that aligns perfectly with Miami-Dade County’s S.M.A.R.T Plan while also addressing the immediate need for workforce housing,” notes Ruiz-Diaz de la Portilla.
