The Real Property Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) section of the Florida Bar presents educational programs on current topics for attorneys practicing in the areas of real property, probate, and trust law.

Gunster attorney Nick Curley received the Rising Star award from the RPPTL section on June 3 at its annual convention, in recognition of his extraordinary service and leadership over the last year.

Among his other recent efforts, Nick spearheaded a number of legislative efforts and was instrumental in a number of 2015-2016 legislative successes. He has been a frequent speaker and lecturer at RPPTL Section meetings.

The Rising Star honor recognizes members of the RPPTL section of the Florida Bar who demonstrate the potential for future leadership through their active participation in section committees and projects. It may be awarded annually to a member of each of the divisions of the section who have made significant contributions to the section.

Curley is a probate litigator in Gunster's West Palm Beach office who focuses his practice on complex Florida fiduciary, guardianship, will and trust litigation.

In 2015, Gunster attorneys Bill Hennessey and Elaine Bucher were honored at the annual RPPTL convention.
