Tampa Bay Times and the South Florida Sun Sentinel recently published a guest column featuring Gunster Chairman and Former U.S. Senator George LeMieux. LeMieux, who serves as Board Chairman for Florida TaxWatch, highlights several measures that Florida TaxWatch hopes the Legislature will address in an effort to protect Florida taxpayer interests.

“The state’s current budget is record in size, as are our budget reserves. Revenue collections are back above pre-pandemic levels, and this Legislature will have even more money available for the next budget cycle,” the column states.
