Julie Kay of the Daily Business Review recently wrote about the increasing number of new lawyer hires in the South Florida region.

After a post-recession drop-off in law school enrollment, this turnaround appears to be particularly good news for law school graduates wanting to work in the area.

In September, Gunster hired three new associates and five 2013 law school graduates. Six of the new hires will work in the firm’s South Florida offices.

Seven of the eight were previous summer associates at the firm, a program that allows selected law school students who have completed two years of coursework to participate in ongoing legal matters in multiple areas of law. Find out more about Gunster’s summer associate program.
