On Friday, February 16th, Alexis Dion Deveaux will be the moderator for the panel discussion "Professionalism Pitfalls: How to Avoid Miscommunication with Clients, Opposing Counsel, and the Court." This event is hosted by the Henry Latimer Center for Professionalism and the Student Education and Admission to the Bar Committee.

Additional topics include:

  • Responding to unprofessional communications sent by an opposing lawyer (or pro se litigant) in a professional manner
  • Copying clients with emails to opposing counsel and other individuals and how to preserve confidentiality and prevent prejudice to the client’s interests
