Derek Bruce to be featured on Orlando Regional Chamber's Business Leadership RoundtableThe Orlando Regional Chamber will host the Business Leadership Roundtable discussion on September 25, 2018 to discuss government relations with highly knowledgeable leaders in the industry. From a new governor to constitutional amendments, the roundtable will touch on local, state and federal races and how your business could be impacted by the 2018 election.

The discussion will be moderated by Sharon Smoley with the Orlando Economic Partnership and will feature a broad panel of government relations professionals. Gunster attorney Derek Bruce will contribute to the panel alongside Adam Babington with Walt Disney World, Chris L. Carmody, Jr. with GrayRobinson, and Janet Owen with the University of Central Florida.

Bruce is the managing shareholder of Gunster's Orlando office and is a member of the government affairs practice. With nearly twenty years’ of practice, he has developed experience in numerous areas of the law, ranging from the representation of clients in complex business litigation and property tax disputes, to the negotiation of large real estate transactions and the resolution of sensitive land use issues. Today, Bruce primarily represents clients before state and local governments throughout the state of Florida on land use, procurement and regulatory issues
