The Employment Law Alliance is, according to the organization’s website, the largest network of labor and employment lawyers in the world. It spans across attorneys in more than 135 countries and in all of the U.S. states and Canadian providences. Gunster shareholder Joseph Santoro

On Feb. 24, Gunster attorney and labor and employment practice co-leader Joseph Santoro will be moderating a webinar hosted by the Employment Law Alliance. The webinar will discuss legal trends in outsourcing to Latin American and what employers need to think about when considering a mass layoff.

Santoro will be joined by speakers from six different countries including Nicaragua, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica and Argentina. The webinar will be webcasting beginning at 12 p.m. EST. Registration is open for the event and attendees are able to download the PowerPoint slides prior to the webinar. The webinar is titled “Outsourcing and employee lay-offs in Latin America: What employers need to know.” It is just one of many upcoming webinars in the next few months. The ELA handles issues from LBGT issues and U.S. employment law to workplace and safety health in Bangladesh, India and China. Employment Law Alliance

Gunster is no stranger to these webinars as well. Last year, Sarah Lea Tobocman spoke at a webinar on “Demystifying business immigration law and compliance for U.S. employers” and many other attorneys from Gunster have participated in webinars through the ELA as well.

Santoro has been consistently named as a  Florida Super Lawyer, to Best Lawyers in America, Florida Trend’s Legal Elite and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
