During the week of September 23, leaders in the agriculture industry will gather at The Breakers on Palm Beach to discuss the most important issues in the industry, network, and brainstorm solutions to national and regional challenges.
The Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association, or FFVA, was established in 1943 and supports the crop industry, both growers and shippers, in Florida. FFVA provides support to its members through access to expertise, and events like this one.
The 72nd FFVA convention will include a variety of panels and forums focused on issues ranging from invasive species to GMOs, and will include an address from Florida agriculture commissioner Adam Putnam.
Gunster attorneys George LeMieux, Joe Negron, and Terry Cole will host a private reception during the FFVA convention, called "Croquet and Caribbean Coolers." Tropical cocktails will be offered, as well as a friendly game of croquet on The Breakers' lawn.
