Earnest DeLoach, a Gunster shareholder who works in the business litigation and construction practice groups, has been invited to speak to the American Contractor Compliance Association during its National Training Institute program. The National Training Institute is hosted each year to provide training on various aspects of the construction industry, for continuing education credit through Morgan State University.
DeLoach's presentation is called "Bid Protest- Defending Your People, Process and Procurement Decision." He will be covering the legal and administrative guidelines surrounding competitive bids, bid awards, bid protests, and dispute resolution for public procurement officers throughout the USA. DeLoach will be drawing on his experience as a former deputy general counsel for public agencies and hearing officer on a $40 million bid protest.
