Gunster corporate law attorneys Tom Hickey and Greg Bader are scheduled to present at the Florida Bankers Association's 34th annual Bank Directors Forum beginning at 8:30 a.m. on October 3 in Naples at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort. Hickey and Bader will participate in the first session of the forum and will present on "2019 Banking Developments".
Hickey and Bader will present at the first session where they will provide an overview for directors of 2019 banking issues and industry developments. The presenting attorneys will focus on topics that include bank boards approach to ongoing consolidation in the industry, recent trends in bank executive compensations, 280G tax issues, change in control agreements, the importance of bank executive compensation issues in the merger process, the process of working with investors and capital sources and more.

Tom Hickey is a corporate law attorney who devotes his practice to representing companies and senior management in executive compensation matters. Tom has extensive trial and appellate experience at all levels of federal and state courts, as well as being a certified mediator in Florida and New York.
Gregory Bader is also a corporate law attorney and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, securities offerings, and advising companies and their management as they make critical business decisions. Bader also serves as chairman of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services practice.
