On Thursday, April 13, join the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce at its annual awards breakfast as it honors local business leaders. The program's honorees include Gunster corporate attorney Joe Chase who will be awarded "Young Professional of the Year."
Each year, the honor is awarded to a young professional (ages 21-40) who has made a difference in their community by striving to address unmet needs through their leadership positions.
Chase, who focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions for private companies, has established himself as one of Palm Beach County's top emerging civic leaders in his various roles throughout Palm Beach County. Currently, he is the youngest to serve as chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches and additionally devotes his time as a board member for both the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the YMCA of the Palm Beaches.
In his role at the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, Chase has led many significant initiatives. He assisted in the reacquiring of the Marathon of the Palm Beaches which included handling the legal matters of the transaction on a pro bono basis. He also led the 2014 efforts to reauthorize the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County. The initiative raised over $20,000 and became one of the most significant sources of funds in the re-authorization campaign.
The awards breakfast will take place at the Breakers Palm Beach and tickets can be purchased by visiting the chamber website.
