The African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida will be hosting a Political Hob Nob event on Aug. 11, 2016, at the Ballroom at Church Street in downtown Orlando. Update: photo from event added below.
The chamber's Political Hob Nob event was created for central Florida's black-owned businesses and the surrounding community to have the opportunity to meet with local, state and national candidates. This is an opportunity for the community to learn about a specific candidates' platform and to connect the candidates with their constituents. For candidates, it gives them an opportunity to meet people face-to-face and explain what they are trying to accomplish and how this will benefit the community.
If you are interested in this event, visit the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida's website to register. The chamber aims to connect its community with opportunities to further business aspirations and overall success in the region.
One of Gunster's corporate lawyers, Earnest DeLoach, will be the master of ceremonies at this event.
As one of Gunster’s “bet the company” litigators, DeLoach is very comfortable in the courtroom, but knows that cases are won long before he and his clients get there. Having argued contested multimillion dollar commercial disputes in state and federal courts in Florida, Texas and New York, DeLoach continuously seeks to resolve conflict long before it can evolve into expensive or protracted litigation.
Outside the office, DeLoach has held leadership positions in various community and civic organizations, speaks to and volunteers with youth groups, and enjoys providing social and political commentary on television and radio.
