The Dr. Stanley and Pearl Goodman Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Broward County is hosting its annual Champagne Brunch on Jan. 11. The event will honor the Goodmans and the renaming of the agency from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Broward Center for Performing Arts.
JFS aims to empower individuals and families by providing counseling services and support. JFS of Broward is more than 50 years old and organizes everything from senior services and volunteer programs to support groups and emergency services. This year, JFS of Broward will be hosting life planning seminars and a resource fairs beginning with a seminar in February called "Bridging the Benefits Gap."
