Gunster attorney and Duke Law alumnus Timothy McGinn is proud to host Duke Law Live! on Friday November 1. Duke Professor of Law Doriane Coleman will speak on the topic of sex and sport. Professor Doriane Coleman will describe this historical, scientific, and legal background before turning to the questions that are most prominent in the national conversation today: Can Title IX survive – legally and practically – the proposed redefinition of “sex” to include “gender identity” and what is the future of girls’ and women’s sport?

Duke Law Live! provides an opportunity for alumni and guests to hear from faculty members about unique and thought-provoking topics.

Timothy works in Gunster's Business Litigation practice and focuses on the litigation and resolution of complex civil disputes.
