Fifteen years after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the search for answers and justice still remains. On Sept. 8, many will gather on the campus of Nova Southeastern University for a lively panel discussion and Q&A hosted by the Florida Bulldog, an independent nonprofit providing watchdog reporting in the public interest.

Florida Bulldog founder and editor Dan Christensen will moderate the panel featuring:

  • Bob Graham, co-chair of Congress’ Joint Inquiry into the attack investigation, and former Florida governor, U.S. senator
  • Sharon Premoli, a victim advocate who was at work on the 80th floor of the north tower when the first plane struck
  • Sean Carter, a partner with Philadelphia’s Cozen O’Connor law firm, which represents victims of the attack
  • Dr. Charles Zelden, an NSU history and political science professor
  • Thomas R. Julin, Gunster attorney and legal counsel for Florida Bulldog

Gunster attorney Tom JulinJulin filed two Freedom of Information Act lawsuits on behalf of the Florida Bulldog against the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI seeking the release of records of an FBI investigation of a Saudi family that left Sarasota immediately prior to the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. He also sought declassification of the 28 pages of the congressional report that examined whether the Saudi government played a role in those attacks.
