APA FL ChapterGunster is a proud sponsor of this year's 2016 annual APA Florida Chapter 2016 annual conference.The American Planning Association Florida Chapter is hosting the annual conference on September 6-9, 2016, at the Tampa Convention Center.

Certified planner Josh Long will be attending the conference and hosting a Gunster booth.

The Florida chapter of APA is a networking organization that focuses on bringing together professionals in the planning industry to provide expertise and leadership for Florida development. The Florida chapter of APA has over 2,600 members who represent firms of all sizes, federal, state and local government, and all kinds of planning, including transportation, master planning, land use planning, environmental planning and others.

Josh LongLong has earned the designation of certified planner by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), the professional institute of the APA. This prestigious certification is the industry’s highest level of accomplishment,

Long was previously a senior planner for the city of West Palm Beach. He works with Gunster’s attorneys to navigate the broad range of issues that arise with land use and development, including growth management, planned unit development, community redevelopment areas, local government approvals and permits, urban development, variance, rezoning, special exceptions and transfer development rights.
