Gunster is proud to sponsor the Quantum House: Shamrock Classic Dinner & Golf event. All proceeds from the event benefit Quantum House families, the area’s only hospital hospitality house dedicated to compassionately caring for families with critically ill children receiving medical treatment in the Country.
Gunster shareholder Ed Tancer will be chairing this year's event and fellow shareholder Mike Mitrione serves on the board of directors with the Quantum House and is a former chair of the board.
This weekend-long golf event begins Sunday, October 11 at Turtle Creek Club with a country club casual outdoor dinner featuring safely-distanced food stations with servers for dinner, accompanied with entertainment and live auction. Golfers tee up on Monday, October 12 at Old Marsh Golf Club for a best ball walking tournament for safe distancing and will be accompanied by professional caddies.
Quantum House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition. Fueled by the vision, energy and resources of Intracoastal Health Systems, Junior League of the Palm Beaches and Quantum Foundation, Quantum House opened its doors in May 2001 to families going through a most difficult time. The House now has 30 rooms and serves more than 1,000 family members every year.
