On October 13th, Gunster will sponsor the Hillsborough County Bar Association (HCBA) 25th Annual Bench Bar Conference. Gunster Board of Directors Member Bill Schifino and Tampa Managing Shareholder John Schifino will be representing the firm at the event. This year’s all-day educational conference with the theme "Game On: Teaming Up On the Legal Field" gives attorneys, judges and legal support staff the chance to attend an array of continuing legal education sessions on cutting-edge topics.

The HCBA is one of the largest voluntary bar associations in Florida with a membership of close to 3,500 attorneys, judges and legal professionals. 


Bill Schifino serves on the firm’s board of directors. He is a board certified specialist in the area of business litigation. His practice focuses on business litigation and trial practice, including securities litigation and arbitration, professional malpractice litigation, director and officer litigation, employment litigation, restrictive covenant litigation and intellectual property litigation.


John Schifino serves as Gunster’s Tampa Office Managing Shareholder. He is a trial and appellate lawyer experienced in handling diverse cases in the areas of business litigation, labor and employment law, and environmental law. John is also a certified state court mediator and has experience mediating a variety of business disputes.
