Gunster is proud to sponsor the 19th Annual the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Miracles Gala for the JDRF north Florida chapter. The theme for the gala is “An Evening for Kings & Queens,” and will take place at the Sawgrass Marriott on Saturday, October 19. Steve Halverson, chairman of the Haskell Company is this year's honoree, receiving the Living and Giving Award.

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction and will follow with dinner and a program at 7:30 p.m. This year’s gala program will include an exciting live auction, JDRF’s Fund A Cure segment where guests have an opportunity to pledge dollars directly to research, entertainment, music and dancing.

This year’s Miracles Gala is will help JDRF progress in its mission of funding critical research for a cure. Proceeds from the 2019 Miracles Gala will support the next milestone in diabetes research, including JDRF’s Artificial Pancreas Project and clinical trials.

Gunster shareholders David Wells and Julia Holden Davis will host a table with other Gunster attorneys to continue our support of JDRF North Florida. David is a business litigator who serves on Gunster’s board of directors. Julia, also a business litigator, focuses on the construction and transportation sectors.
