Gunster is proud to support the 2nd Annual Private Equity Community Build with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County on January 24, 2025. Gunster attorneys Joe Chase, Josh Jacobson, Matt Scheer, Stacie Townsend, and Ana Paladino will participate in the build. This home build and repair blitz is bringing together Private Equity Firms and other professionals with the Private Equity ecosystem to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County is an organization dedicated to building homes, communities, and hope. At the center of the organization’s efforts, it strives to provide safe and decent homes for families and individuals in need of affordable housing.
Joseph Chase serves as head of Gunster’s Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity team. He is dedicated to serving as a trusted advisor to business owners, private equity firms, companies in a wide range of industries, and other clients. He represents clients in connection with sales and purchases of businesses and general business and corporate matters.
Josh Jacobson is a shareholder in Gunster’s Miami office and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Banking & Financial Services practice groups. His practice focuses on banking and asset based finance, and he regularly advises clients on all aspects of structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing loan and other credit transactions.
Stacie K. Townsend, a shareholder in the firm’s Corporate and Technology & Entrepreneurial Companies practice groups, focuses her practice on helping businesses and business leaders from institutional clients to emerging or entrepreneurial companies.
Matthew J. Scheer is a board certified tax attorney and a member of the firm’s Tax, Corporate, Private Wealth Services, and International practice groups. Matt advises clients on complex business transactions, joint venture structuring and corporate restructurings, cross-border investment structures, investment fund structuring, intergenerational wealth transfers and planning, estate planning, and charitable planning.
Ana Paladino is an attorney in the firm’s Corporate practice. She concentrates her practice on mergers and acquisitions, complex business transactions, and general corporate matters such as negotiating fundamental agreements with various stakeholders.
