Gunster will be a sponsor at the Haitian Lawyers Association (HLA) 26th Annual Scholarship Gala on March 16, 2024. This event honors current and future leaders in the community. Gunster attorney and Fort Lauderdale Office Managing Shareholder Jonathan Osborne will be recongized at the event.

The Haitian Lawyer Association is a voluntary bar association in the State of Florida. HLA’s members include lawyers, law professors, law students and judges of Haitian, Haitian-American descent, as well as those who are not of Haitian descent but have a vested interest in issues affecting the Haitian community. HLA is an organization dedicated to protecting and advocating for the legal rights of the Haitian community.

Jonathan K. Osborne is a business litigation shareholder and co-chair of the firm’s White Collar Defense & Internal Investigations practice group. He began his practice at Gunster and later returned to the firm after serving in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida. Jonathan currently serves as the Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale Office. Jonathan is a first-chair trial lawyer and counselor to organizations and individuals in complex civil and white collar matters and internal investigations.
