The Heckerling Institute on Estate planning at the University of Miami School of Law is hosting the 49th edition of its annual conference in Orlando from Jan. 12 - 16 at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The event is a national gathering for estate planners, attorneys, professionals involved in charitable giving, accountants, financial planners and many more professionals, advisers and educators. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to see new technology products and services exhibited by almost 150 vendors in an exhibit hall.

Highlights of the program this year include:

Gunster attorney James B. Davis, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office and leader of the tax practice group, joined the Heckerling graduate program's faculty as an adjunct professor in 2013.
