Gunster attorney Sarah Lea Tobocman, the leader of the firm’s immigration practice, will be presenting at the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine and Association of Osteopathic Directors and Medical Educators joint conference on April 25. The joint AACOM and AODME annual conference runs from April 22 – 25 at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale.

Tobocman_Sarah_100x125Tobocman is a shareholder at Gunster’s Miami office. She will be presenting at 9 a.m. on the Saturday of the event program. Her lecture titled “A primer: Visas for international students, residents and osteophysicians” will help individuals to navigate the “maze of U.S. immigration rules and regulations.” Tobocman will inform participants of how to avoid issues in letters, contracts and payments of attorneys fee and will provide advice for international medical graduates in the frame of immigration law.

Tobocman is a frequent speaker. Last December she presented as part of a Globalaw webinar on the immigration of same-sex couples around the world and employment issues alongside Gunster attorney Mariana Ribeiro.
