The Treasure Coast Section of the American Planning Association Florida Chapter will host their 2018 Annual Conference September 11-14 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
Gunster certified planner Josh Long will be the chair of the conference. Long will also be a panelist at the conference on "Unlocking solar's bounty- how to prepare for large scale solar." Long was previously a senior planner for the City of West Palm Beach where he created a significant transferable development rights (TDR) program. Josh works with Gunster’s attorneys to navigate the broad range of issues that arise with land use and development.
Also presenting at the conference is Gunster attorney Brian Seymour. Seymour co-chairs Gunster's real property practice and will speak on effective writing for planners.
Joining Long at the conference as panelists include Gunster attorneys Kaitlin Dean and E.J. Cox. Both will be on a panel discussing "Lawyers, what are they good for? Quite a bit actually...land planning and the unlicensed practice of law". Dean is an associate in the firm’s real estate law practice group and Cox is an associate in the business litigation practice.
