Join Gunster for the 2019 Night of Literary Feasts presented by the Broward Public Library Foundation on March 2. At this literature celebration, guests will get to choose among 14 different guest authors to join for a memorable dinner in exclusive settings to support Broward County Library programs and services for children and youth.
One of the featured authors of the evening is Gunster chairman of the board, former U.S. Senator George S. LeMieux. In his book, Florida Made: The 25 Most Important Figures Who Shaped the State, LeMieux explores how Florida is in many ways both the oldest and newest of the megastates. Once an insect-ridden swampland, the state is now a top destination for tourism, business, agriculture and innovation. LeMieux writes about the ideas and actions of a colorful cast of characters from beloved cultural icons to political heroes and even a socialist dictator who have had a lasting impact on this peninsula we call home.
The evening will begin with a welcome reception where attendees will have the opportunity to meet all 14 of the 2019 Literary Feast authors. After the reception, ticket holders will depart for intimate dinners featuring their author of choice.
