The third annual Women's Conference of Florida will be hosting a panel entitled "Women in the Workplace: Shining a Light on the Elusiveness to Diversity" which will discuss biases in the workplace as it relates to ethnicity, race, and gender.
The panel will be moderated by news anchor and reporter Cristina Puig from Telemundo Tampa. Panelists will include Fabiola Brumley (Bank of America), Judge Marcia Cooke (United States District Judge), and Lila Jaber (leader of Gunster's government affairs law practice).
Lila Jaber leads Gunster's government affairs law & lobbying practice and serves as the regional managing shareholder over the Tallahassee and Orlando offices. Notably, she is also the architect of the Florida Women in Energy Leadership Forum, a group focused on highlighting the workforce and economic development contributions of the electric and natural gas industries in the state. Additionally, Jaber is a founding member of the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, where she strives to promote growth and support for women and minority owned businesses in five counties in the Big Bend region. She has earned a variety of honors and recognitions over the course of her career, including being named one of Tallahassee Democrat’s “25 Women You Need to Know."
