The keynote speaker for the event is Dr. C.T. Vivian, a winner of the 2013 Presidential Medal of Freedom and acclaimed civil rights activist. His work in the civil rights movement is depicted in the critically acclaimed movie “Selma.” He is known for his work with Dr. King himself and for the Southern Christian Leadership Organization.

The event, presented by JM Family Enterprises, Inc., will be held at the First Baptist Church Fort Lauderdale. Guests are encouraged to arrive early because parking is limited and doors open at 7 a.m. All proceeds will go to the YMCA programs. Gunster is a proud sponsor of this event and attorneys Fabienne Fahnestock, Jennifer Nicole and Holly Griffin will be attending this event which is sold out as of Jan. 8.
